New Home Warranty Procedure

At Fourth Moore Homes, we strive to deliver high-quality construction and stand behind our work through a structured warranty process that aligns with the Texas Association of Builders Limited Warranty and your Purchase Contract.

Request Process

  • Submit Your Request
All warranty claims must be submitted in writing via email to:
    mitch@fourthmoore.com

Please include the following in your email:
    - Homeowner’s full name and address
    - Contact information (phone and email)
    - Detailed description of the issue
    - Photos, if available
  • Review and Assessment
Upon receipt of your claim, we will review the issue and assess whether it qualifies as a warrantable item under the Texas Association of Builders Limited Warranty and/or your contract.
  • Response Time
If the claim is deemed warrantable, repairs or corrective action will be initiated within 60 days of assessment.

Non-Warrantable Items

Claims will not be addressed if they fall into the below categories:

  • Cosmetic Defects
Minor imperfections such as paint touch-ups, caulking, drywall texture mismatches, etc.
  • Items Not Covered
Any issue not explicitly listed as warrantable under the Texas Association of Builders Limited Warranty or your purchase contract.
  • Owner Responsibility
Issues caused by homeowner neglect, improper maintenance, or external damage.

RCLA Notice

If Fourth Moore Homes fails to address a valid warrantable defect within the prescribed time, homeowners may file a formal claim under the Texas Residential Construction Liability Act (RCLA).

Things to Note

  • All warranty communication must be documented through email for tracking and legal purposes.
  • Emergency items (such as total HVAC, plumbing, or electrical failure) should still be reported via email but can be followed up with a phone call if urgent.
  • Keep a copy of your TAB Limited Warranty and Contract Documents on hand for reference.
